5 - 9 APRIL
Stronger partnerships and increased market access between Zambia and Finland. The annual Finnish Week of Business in Zambia offers B2B matchmaking and thematic sessions in key business sectors. This year the event is organised live in Lusaka! Welcome!
The Finnish Week of Business, or FinnBiz Week, is the largest annual event organised by the Embassy of Finland in Lusaka. Its main objective is to encourage business between Finnish and Zambian companies and entities, improve the countries’ perceptions of each other as trading partners, and to market available opportunities for trade.
FinnBiz Week has been organised three times. The first edition was launched in 2019 in Lusaka during the Zambia Agritech Expo, and the second and third edition was hosted virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020 and 2021. The fourth annual FinnBiz Week takes place from 5 to 9 April 2022 and is organised live again in Lusaka.
Last year, the virtual Finnish Week of Business connected over 100 Finnish companies with around 200 pre-identified potential Zambian partners in a series of B2B and thematic meetings.
Concrete results from these events since 2019 include direct sales, new partnerships being established, and an increased local presence, including manufacturing and subsidiary registrations.

AMBASSADOR'S GREETING >
The Embassy of Finland in Lusaka has been putting together this year’s Finnish Week of Business in close cooperation with the AGS Programme (Accelerated Growth for MSMEs in Zambia), a private sector programme funded by the government of Finland.
We are very pleased, after two years of virtual events, to be able to organize FinnBizWeek again physically in Zambia, and to combine it with the AgriTech Expo that will take place in Chisamba. This year’s programme builds on the excellent experiences of past years, in creating partnerships, and taking forward existing ones.
Registration is now closed.
